Heavier gear knobs?

I was lucky enough to get one of the Limited edition J5 Mk1 And even on the coldest mornings I still love it.
The difference it makes to the gear shift from the OEM is night and day. :thumbsup:
 
yes there is 2 screws (10 and 2 o'clock) on the opp side to where the logo is (6 o'clock), so just push down harder? will there be like a click or thud noise when it goes over the ridge? if u know what i mean?

Is this just for Storm that you need screws? Does ZHP need screw to fit or does it just click in?

There is no satisfying click, just that the screw will go in properly and further.
 
Do the storm ones require a decent push down?-i have not seen mine yet-my better half told me its gone off to father christmas :)

I have a ZHP with no screws. Does it need them? This thread is making me think I need screws to fit it?

Yes, the Storm is the one that needs the push.

ZHP is just a cheapy gear knob so does not come with quality screws :poke:

We are discussing the quality Storm units here. :D

OK the ///M Logo isn't lit, but it's close enough for me and a dam sight cheaper than the USA offering and my original knob is still intact :oops:
