Heating windscreen help

I'm pretty sure I'm being retarded here, but I can't work out the heater in the Z!

Most cars have a picture of a windscreen which you'd leave it pointing to and leave the blower on low to prevent any fogging but not z4s? There's the quick clear button, but I find I'm pressing that every 5 mins and its noisy!

Help a tard :)
 
Isnt it the centre button of the actual dial? Press and focused windscreen power awaits.
 
As stated above, central button on the left dial heats the windscreen

I'm not that retarded lol, I worked that one out!
But it's noisy, a quick clear, I want to know how to leave it on the windscreen on a low non intrusive level? Can't press that button every 5 mins!
 
put the AC on.

The windshield will stop steaming up!

Otherwise twist the dial to the up position, set fan speed slow it will blow on the top and not sound like a plane taking off!
 
Just stick it on auto then it ill sort itself out, otherwise as aquasi says left dial facing the top.
 
In some modes you can turn down the blower speed without exiting the mode. Don't recall if this is one or not, give it a try.
