heating mirror dead

Hi my drivers side mirrors not heating up the passengers side is ok i can feel it with my hand that its working . now iv checked the fuses f8 f21 and they r ok so what should i do next ? should i lever the mirrior glass off the heating element ? does anyone have a show me how to do it link on here as i carnt find one ? thanks in advance for any help :)
 
Pop the mirror off. It might be the spade terminal has worked its way off. Or the heating pad is coming away.

Point the mirror to the sky. There is a locking ring on its back. Small flat head screw driver up in the gap. There is a slot for the screw driver head. Now try and rotate the locking ring.
