Heater Woes

2003 E85 3.0
Can't get any heat on passenger side from under dash vent. Even when heater fan is on no flow of air at all comes out - hot or cold. Drivers side is nice and warm/hot with good flow of air. Dash vents all work ok. Windscreen vents don't seem to work either. But they do when you press the 'max' button on heater distribution wheel.
Is something blocked? .....Can't work out why no air flow at all from under dash on passenger side.
Coolant level is always full.
Any comments much appreciated.

To re-cap...........

Dash vents work fine with good flow of cold/warm air.

Windscreen vents - no air flow at all. Only produce warm/hot air when little button is pushed in on air distribution dial.

Under dash vents - good flow of cold/warm air only from drivers side. No air flow at all from passenger side.

Coolant level is always at max.

Do the under dash vents open via a connecting rod of some sort?

Any comments/advice much appreciated.

are you saying you cant alter where the air flows from.

on my previous car there was a stepper motor that would change the flow direction

but it could be the dial on front of dash not sending signal

Thanks for reply above. All looks to be getting a bit complicated.

To get access to those little motors I guess remove the glove box first?......then take it from there??

Is removing the glove box easy?
