heated seats

Just gave up a very good deal on a 3.0i Z4 because it didn't have heated seats........then again I do live in Scotland....Brrrrrrr

Does anyone know roughly how much fitting heated seats retrospectively to a standard leather seat would cost i.e. both properly through BMW and after market?

I'm loosing out on really good deals on Z4's because of the fact they don't have heated seats (ok there are a couple of other issues too) but knowing I could retrospectively have heated seats fitted would really help. Thanks.

When your car has been parked out in the cold all day and you get in it after work, heated seats are a blessing
I'm about to leave work and my seats will be getting turned on to full power for the first 10 minutes or so, means I won't have to wear a jacket whilst driving or wait for the air heaters to warm up.

In a coupe, the heated seats are just a nice touch, if I had a roadster, they would get more use as I would push the "season" to the max. Yesterday in the Ultimate drive (low 40s F) I was quite comfortable with the roof down, heated seats on low, heater tweaked upwards a bit.

I live in Devon, I always found them odd feeling and once they were warm the heater was too so didn't really stop the initial cold start.
