Hi All

Thanks to Fishy Dave and Marlon's threads we have a US supplier of X3 wiring looms that work for our Z4 to retrofit heated seats into cars that were not pre-wired for them (generally 04>).

Here are their threads respectively.

And the loom in question

I'm going to order up a set ($30) however postage is $66 on top! There will probably be duty on top of this.

I'll be doing this next week, if you let me know if you want me to add one in I'll get it ordered and we can split the total costs afterwards.
Cheers

List-

Worth factoring in a bit extra for import duty too. The first one I ordered didn't attract any customs attention, the set I then ordered for Marlon plus my spare did however.

Hi id like one too. I have retro fitted heated seats and the switch is by the side of the seat already have a new switch panel so this would be ideal.

Thanks Dave. I've added a mention in the initial cost. Do you know what percentage you got stung for?

Would these looms work in an E46 M3 ?

When I was looking at other BMW retrofit kits to find one that might work in the Z4 I ruled out the M3. I think you can still get the E46 retrofit kit?

No, sorry, I can't remember, but it wasn't a huge amount, maybe £20-30 in total?

I've only had a quick search, found this: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-bmw-parts/heated-seat-retrofit-kit/61110139368/
and

Not sure what the latter part no. includes but would guess it's just the wiring without the switch unit? Also unsure if the latter is a retrofit kit, although that may not matter.

Thanks. Yes I'd seen that, thanks. Have a switch panel already so was just wondering if possible to get the wiring like the kit on this thread. Thanks for checking!!
