hi - anyone know where I can find a "How to" on fitting heated seats and or info on where they can be bought? - either OEM or other to a standard seat (3.0i)? Thanks.

The part number for the kit is 61110301538 might be interesting to get a price from a dealer on it. You've not made a Jag dealer happy today have you?

 not crumbled yet!! But still thinking about it hence the question above as no doubt you suspected!! Seen ellipsoids (5 of them for £300) so sell the wheels that are currently on it and they wouldn't cost much....thanks by the way.

How does this work then - do you get the same buttons on the console as normal and anyidea how much the kit costs, can't see a price...

Right, the retrofit kit is £30, then you need a new centre console switch at £148, plus two new seat covers (as with the M seats the elements are sewn in) which are £411 each, all plus VAT.

So you are looking at £1150 plus fitting.
