Has anyone fitted heated seats, having had to manually modify the loom/car as their car didn't come with the loom pre-installed; what kind of job is it?
I have a late 2005 Z4, so it won't have the loom installed from the factory, but I have a set of heated seats (and the corresponding control panel) that I'm about to fit to my Z4. I didn't buy them because they were heated, I bought them on condition/colour, but, it'd be nice to have the heated function working if possible. They're keep-fit seats, i.e. manual, so it's just the heater element (no pun intended) that I need to address.
If it requires a technical spit-roast with Prof Hawking and Cox then I shan't bother, but if it can be done easily enough with basic tools then I'm happy to give it a go.
