Heated door mirror

How easy is it to replace a door mirror?
My driver's door unit doesn't seem to be heating up so I was thinking of changing it providing it's not a mamouth task
 
On my E85 and my 1 series you get the mirror to the max looking down at the ground then squeeze a small screw driver in and rotate the clip round one way or the other and then it comes free I found a few you tube videos that shows how to do it

When you get it out it all becomes clear, yes I know thats a bit late but it makes putting it back easy
 
I’ve got a slightly loose LH one...I’ve tried numerous times to ping it out as per the other poster / you tube but to no effect...so just carry on till it falls off :thumbsdown:
