I had one of these fitted to my Roadster and it made a world of difference to the 1st to 2nd gear change.

I recognise the seller's username, pretty sure I know (of) them via the PH Scotland forum

Or you know, you guys could just modify your existing one...? Or remove it entirely? :)

Should/does make shifting alot smoother especially between 1st and 2nd. Cannot go into detail but the CDA restricts fluid movement not allowing you to determine clutch control as much

I removed the CDV altogether. Easy job. Cant understand why people pay for modified versions.

Don't waste your money. If your clutch action bothers you, take out the existing unit and remove the orifice plate (flow restirictor) by knocking it out. 2 minute job. Makes little difference in reality.

This is what I did on a donor unit... tried it on the one I took out of my car and it wouldn't budge :o

also new ones won't budge either.

as others have said you can just take it out.

Strange. I know of recently purchased BMW units from which the owner has knocked out the orifice. However, yes, just remove it completely and job-done; same result.

Does removing it completely open you up to potential issues with insurance/warranty etc? Think there's some mention of that on the Zeckhausen website (though they are trying to flog you a modified CDV, of course...)
