a seller on german ebay (bmw-nl-muenchen) has a great price reduction on new hardtops - selling at 799euro
The only disadvantage is they dont ship to foreign countries

Ive already picked up mine and I confirm it is brand new, and worth buying

problem is unless you are going to pick it up yourself, otherwise shipping cost is about £500! which you need to arrange yourself.

True - provided you've paid VAT in Germany there are no other taxes to pay on return to UK.

Looking good Ally......I nearly went for a VW van recently as an occasional business hauler but couldn't bring myself to pay 50% more than the equivalent Tranny - ended up getting a low-miles 55-plate diesel Passat estate cheap instead to tow my existing trailer.

But you can't do what you've done with a bloody Passat sadly Guess its the tent for me again....
