Heads-up: rear lights on ebay

£120 is this what these things generally go for!? I bought the full set including brake light and side repeaters for less than this from someone off this forum 3 years ago when I first got the car.

Yep this is the price these lights will fetch. Times appear to have changed! BMW will charge around £165 for a single clear light cluster... I have seen posts from forum users that purchased an M sport steering wheel from BMW for around £250 a couple of years ago, BMW now charge in the region of £500!

These are just a couple of examples, but it seems BMW have put Z4 related parts up massively over the last couple of years...

Just go the facelift rear light route, freshens the car and makes it look wider and more squat.

I have a rear facelift bumper going for free to start someone off - will need a re-spray though

Old Z4 parts have probably gone up as the old models are now out of production perhaps?

The steering wheel thing does seem excessive... but I guess they only have so many M steering wheels in stock and ultimately it's good old supply/demand economics...

They were clearly too cheap when everyone was buying them at £250 :D

The down side to it all really is insurance costs since fixing cars is going to be more expensive...

When I bought my car it needed a new rear light cluster. £270 Inc Vat at the stealers including fitment :headbang:

I know better than to go to the stealers now...
