Nowt to do with me but someone may have been checking it out, if so be aware that the seller has removed it without securing the column with the locking pin tool which is essential to avoid serious damage (according to BMW & TIS). £600 seemed steep as well!

The sellers response is below,
"Item was removed from a 2007 E86 3.0si, the actual part number on the unit is 6777329. I am not aware of any particular process of removing these other than ensuring the steering lock isn't engaged and that the steering is centrally aligned (this is the way we have done them previously and we have had no problems)
