seats are the same in both roadster & coupe.

just need to make sure if the passenger occupancy sensor matches yours or not. the seats from pre-facelift cars have a different sensor to the facelift ones :!:
 
Guilty for buying, figured it was a rare oppertunity and if it doesn't work out i can put them back up for sale. i am going to be putting them in a 53 plate Z, so should have no compatability issuse as they claim to come frome a 54 plate?? Not paid up for them yet as want to collect in person - less chance of scam imo - waiting for seller to respond.
 
bossy_01, the coupe was facelift onwards. That aside, the seat belt guides look like the facelift versions - the pre-facelift are thicker.

If you don't want the bother of swapping the occupancy sensor, which is more of a faff than it is difficult, you may want to double check before travelling.

Even though the year may not be right, still a good bit of business at that price, consider what some have paid :thumbsup:

Ha, unfortunately not. But don't worry: if I see any for sale I WON'T be adding to my seat collection :D

My Z4 had standard/electric/black leather when I bought it. I upgraded to identical but heated versions and fitted my originals into my VW camper. But then I got seduced into buying heated/electric/black-yellow //M Sport seats plus interior - I still blame PawnSacrifice for that. So not as bad as it sounds, I hope...
 
Are the occupancy sensors particularly difficult to get hold of? I have the car booked in for thursday for service, tyres and mot and had also asked for the seats to be swopped. Best place to look for sensor?
 
Response from seller when asked the question was a little hazy...not sure he knows too much about the seats, i am in the same boat...but basically he says that the seats were jut unbolted, so if the sensor is attached to the seats then they are still there...does that make sense? So next question is where is the sensor located?
 
Picked up the seats yesterday and they were in alright condtion, about the same as my current ones and very much expected. Place was a business (BMW and mini parts irc), a whole warehouse / farm shed filled to the roof with parts, I was impressed. Seats being fitted tomorrow so will see how it goes. Thanks again for all your help!
