Heads up - Ebay TCA poly bushes

I purchased a pair of the below (pic 1) bushes from ebay and fitted about two months ago, i noticed a couple of weeks ago (MOT time) that the driver side bush has started to come apart (pic 2), I mailed the guy who had sold them to me and he sent a replacement (pic 3).
This is just a heads up for anyone who has bought these also, my passenger bush is fine, although i think when i get round to putting the bush on i will put a smear of silicone adhesive on the TCA before i slide the bush on

Strange that they 'come apart', as the suspension geometry should keep them in place. (the powerflex units can also be taken apart in this way).

So check if your control arm and the ball link is still ok.

You should lubricate the poly bushing with copper grease.

I did check the quality of the ball joint when i installed them and although they weren't like new they were far from loose, although admittedly i didn't lube between the bushes , ive no idea how it coud wriggle its way further up the TCA but the passenger side is fine
