Hi , refurbed the headlights the other day and now they look great. Took me around 2.5 hours to do but has transformed the look of the car from the front. A couple of pics added of the finished result and a few more of my pride and joy.

Great results, which headlamp kit did you use? Noticed a few on the market.
Zed looks a nice clean example also 8)

It was just a cheap one off EBay for £10. Bit scary sanding the headlights but the results are great. Hope they stay like this for a few years

You can clean the headlights just as effectively using toothpaste (the minty type) and a toothbrush. I tried it and it worked!!!

What UV protection did you put on after the buffing?

Was going to do mine, but chickened out and now going to get them done by a professional detailer for £50 once I get around to doing it.

I got 2 sachets of UV protection with the kit I bought. Easy to put on. You basically smear it on your headlights using a supplied sponge then leave to dry.

Results look great OP.

Looks like I've got something to add to my list! :)

Good work, the headlights look mint.

I used a pack of micromesh on a Hyundai Coupe's headlights a couple of summers ago, they were heavily crazed. A lot of elbow grease required, but worth it. They still look good to this day.
