Headlights Question

I have just sold set of headlights off of my 04 2.5, The buyer has an 04 2.2, Will they fit ??? coz ebay says no

He hasnt got them yet, they are still in my Living room, which the Mrs is loving :rofl:
I did a compatability check on Ebay and it said they were not compatable
so I am a bit wooried that I send em off just to get them back.
