Headlights on when unlocking

Is anyone able to give me a clear answer as to if this is something that can be coded in or not? We have a Golf GTI that when you unlock via the key the headlights turn on and it's a great feature - it also turns the headlights off when you lock the car.
Is there any way I can get this on my 2004 E85 or does it require a 3rd party bit of kit?

my intravee can do it (turn lights on for xx secs on lock/unlock), but i think it can be coded

mines same, on unlock all side lights and rear centre brake light.

on lock just flashes indicators

You'll always get 90%+ of your money back on the intravee/alpine (around £200) when you come to sell. So treat it as a £20 cost

FWIW i also have an intravee, and i have 'white lights' light up when opening, and orange lights light up when locking. that's my mentality anyway.

Home lights can be coded with SSS or ncsexpert, the z4 doesn't have welcome lights unless you have an Intravee
