My headlights seem to be very weak and not lighting up the road much,
what are the best bulbs to replace them with??

Thanks in advance!

Bright ones

Funny, lots

OP - I changed mine for Osram Nightbreaker Plus, assuming you have halogen lights. Another tip is to mark a screw driver then give the height adjuster one full turn up. Sorry, can't remember which way moves them up (hence why you should mark the screw driver so you know how much you've turned it. I didn't :| )

Hope that helps, if not here's my thread from when I did it. Down the bottom of the first page is a post that will answer your next question about getting at the darned things...

Fitted these http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/..._10145867_zygonManPartNum_HBU477_zygonPrice_0, very good as they were BOGOF. Also cleaned the other plastic covers with a Turtle Wax headlight restorer kit is available from ebay as
Headlight Lens Restorer Kit , Scratches Dulling see http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270803294374?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 I only needed a lot less than half the Clarifing Compound so would be happy to sell the remainders for £10 inc postage within UK.

End result a great improveent!!

"Osram Nightbreaker Plus"

Yep, second vote here - had them in my e46, changed my life. :D

Even with Xenons I had to do one full turn on the near side light, and one and a half turns on the offside light.
