Headlight woes

Having just replaced both the angel eyes with BMW oem complete units , as one had failed, now I have one Xenon bulb
going off and on ( mainly off! ) :headbang:
I had the work done at a local garage as I know the job is fiddly.

Shall I now buy 2 replacement bulbs, is it definitely the bulb and not anything else?
( loose connection/ igniter ).

And, is it a good idea to replace seals at same time, as condensation is affecting the units?

Any thoughts/advice gratefully received!

What units are you referring to? The E85/6 just have a small bulb in a plastic holder that lights up the angel eye. Try swapping the xenon bulbs over to see if it still does it on the other side and you'll know if it's the bulb, or possibly the ballast.

Many thanks for replies.
Will swap bulbs first.
I take it this is easier than changing angel eye bulbs? :D

Angel eyes are a bit easier!
Turn wheel to the outside or remove, remove cover in wheel arch, remove light rear cover, remove spring clip off igniter, twist igniter anti clockwise til it clicks and pull away, remove bulb metal spring clip and pull bulb out. Getting the new one in and to sit right is the challenge!
