Headlight washers

I know people will say it is a useless upgrade, but does anybody know how many bits of kit do you need to retro fit the washers, I have already agreed to buy a facelift bumper with the holes but have no idea yet, as to what is needed or how I go about doing it, any advice/help appreciated

Is the tank the same for both?

I assume you'll need:
the washers
covers
tubing
pump

As a minimum. Probably coding too?

Don't think you need to buy a new bumper, the marking for cutting the holes are on the inside and the brackets are already there IIRC.

I always pull the fuse to the headlight washers on all my cars. I hate them making a mess on the front :headbang:

I'd say there's a fair bit of work for this as I'm not sure how you would get the stalk to set the motors for the washers off, it may be a simple case of coding though. The redid the kit is easy- you'd need new washer reservoir, motor/filter pumps and hoses. Alternatively unless you really want the washers you could just buy the washer covers and glue them on the bumper.

Is pulling fuses and decoding them not to work a problem at MOT time?
I thought they were compulsory with xenon headlights, so are they not tested for an MOT?
