Headlight Washer?

Hi - this is a really stupid question but...

Some of you will recall I had to get my front bumper repaired recently after catching it on a raised manhole cover.
Anyway - all good I thought. Picked up the car a couple of weeks ago.

However, I noticed my headlight washers are no longer working... The stupid bit of the question is I'm actually doubting I ever had the washer system and I'm wondering if I'm confusing driving my wife's car which has it.

Anyway the spec sheet for my car does list S0502 - HEADLIGHT CLEANING SYSTEM and it also has the small covers for the system on the bumper.
Are those covers on *every* bumper or just those with the headlight washing system??

Its booked back into the garage at the end of the month to check, but I dont want to look like a muppet and the garage tell me the car doesn;t have the system!!

I (thought) I had the same issue with mine, someone gave me the same info….I got all excited when in broad daylight I put the lights on….stood on my drive….reached in through the window and got my trousers showered with water after 2 or 3 presses on the windscreen washer when the lights got a bath 😂

Because all e89’s have xenon lights i believe they all have headlight washers fitted-it’s possible to reduce the washing frequency with Carly or code them off altogether

the 'pop up' bits can stick if they get gungy, lots of info available on how to clean them.
Just use neat screenwash as opposed to tap water, it'll keep them nice and free.
You can code them in carly as to how many washes they give when activated and also how many screenwashs are between each headlight wash operation

So I'm fairly certain they aren't working.

Today alone I've sprayed the windscreen multiple times (with lights and wipers on) but no tell tale sign of water spraying up onto headlights. Back to the garage it is.

Thanks all.
