Headlight washer nozzle and cap

Hi
I lost my headlamp washer cap after the diamond piece broke from the nozzle. I contacted BMW and they wanted £60 +VAT for the nozzle but I only needed the diamond piece shown below. I had found the cap and the washer nozzle were working fine.
I was reluctant to buy the full nozzle so started looking if another car manufacturer sold the piece and guess what I found it.
Volvo make the exact same piece. I just removed it from the nozzle and fitted it to my cap

It cost £13 only

Good find.
I wonder if this part is made by one manufacturer and then sold to different car makers.
In the classic car world, you see high end car manufacturers using the same part for their car, that's used by a lower/mass produced car maker.
