Headlight washer lid popped off...

Today I noticed that my left headlight washer lid had disappeared. Usually I'm driving fast and active, but not as fast as the lid should be ripped off

Anyone knowing if this is easy to repair? Had a closer look at the nozzle in the bumper, and seems to be a "clip-on" fastening solution of some sort.

If the diamond shaped clip on top of the spray unit is still there and intact you can buy a new cover top from BMW. If you get someone to set of the washers then grab the nozzle as it pops up you can put the new top on. They come unpainted at about.... gulp £15 and BMW will sting you twice that again for painting. I sprayed my own.

This link may help

Ewazix has provided the answer... So I can ask - that doesn't look like a stock bottom grill, have you got any other pics of it ?

Bing; here is a picture taken of the front with the "Z4 Shark lower grill".

I ordered the grill at Roadster Solutions some time ago. You'll find it at this page --> http://www.roadstersolutions.com/page64.html

Many will hate that, but I quite like it... Shame there isn't a facelift version, in black. Unusual mod

Ewazix; thank you for a good and detailed answer :) . I will visit my local dealer tomorrow and order a new lid and some "Estoril blue" spray paint.
