Afternoon,

Carrying on from my washer jet woes earlier in the year, the cover has kindly popped off the replacement headlight washer jet after a couple of months. This was on a dual carriageway so no chance of getting it back.

Bit of a long shot but does anyone have a spare lying around, preferably in Interlagos?

I just bought one from an eBay seller for around £38, painted  I figured it was easier than me potentially messing up the spraying and waste time doing it over and over again

Thanks Ben. I hadn't realised it was available on eBay already painted.

Was it hard to fit? I plan to disable the washers once it's back on.

I haven't received it yet, but I remember my dad replacing one of my headlight washer jets years ago and it looked pretty simple. I just activated the washers and he grabbed it as it came up from the bumper.

The covers must just clip on, as mine fell off when I hit a speedbump at speed.

Keep me posted on the install - if I don’t get any takers on here I’ll go down the eBay route.

I fitted one the other week. Its a 2 mimute job, and that includes finding a pair of needle nose pliers.
The jet needs to be pulled up out of the bumper (hence pliers as my fingers are too fat) so you can clip on the new cover, there's a surprising amount of resistance, once its protruding from the bumper grab it with your other hand drop the pliers and clip on the cover. Easy.

I got mine ready painted from ebay was about £40, decent colour match (Maldives blue). They wanted the vin number to make sure the colour was correct.

Thanks all. I was having a play with the jet today and see what you mean about needing pliers - and I don't even have very large fingers. Think I'll use Ben's idea of activating the washers, seems easier!

Hopefully you still have the diamond shaped clip on the top of the washer? 50/50 that they disappear with the cover, originally they only came with the complete washer/jet unit at great expense (as I found out) but various replacement clips can now be sourced. Like the covers they are handed L/R.
