Hi all - my passenger side headlight washer cover appears to have popped off, no idea where it is now. Was last seen on the car 200 miles away from where I am now, so I'll assume thats the last I'll see of it.
So I need a new one. According to RealOEM the part numbers are 51117078261 for the left one and 51117078262 for the right one. Now this may seem an odd question but is the left side of the car the left side when facing forward? Or looking at the front of the car? I think the passenger side on a UK spec car is the left side, am I right here? Yes stupid question I know.
So whichever part no it is I plan to get one of them, and sprayed by a body shop.
The next part is fitting it. I still have the top mount on the washer (the bit that looks like a kite and pivots), so I don't need a new one. But how do you mount it? I presume you need to pull the jet out and attach it, but I don't want to force it. Would spraying the jets then grabbing in when it's up do the job? Or is there another method?
Once this is all done I'll remove fuse40 so they don't pop up again and get in the air flow, as they don't really do anything other than get the wings dirty...
Cheers all
