headlight restore

Can anyone tell me of the best kit to restore my headlights.
I have tried the diy options a few times but they still appear cloudy.

I done mine recently I used the QUIXX kit I got it off amazon, my headlights come out great they
look brand new

I just used the maguires kit . Comes with all the bits you need to do a great job!
Mine were off the car when it was away getting painted so I set about them!

Very good kit and delighted with the end results
The sanding pads are Velcro backed so I put mine in a drill with an attachment I bought from "geek" for £2 and it tore through the yellow haze at a very controlled rate, not to quick that you would damage the lens but quick enough you see progress quick enough, the paste cuts away nicely and the sealer is easy to use!
Kit cost £18 in Eurocar parts

I have had good results with a buffer, G3 and various grades of sandpaper. I also recently tried the autoglym kit for a mate on his car. This uses a drill attachment and worked equally as well as the bodyshop tools/compounds/sandpaper.

I used the Quixx System Headlight Restoration Kit recently and the headlights came up a treat ... definitely recommend this product (and its also an Auto Express Test Winner)

I didn't get it out for the headlights but while using it for something else i went over them with some Menzerna heavy cut 400 and a microfiber towel. I wasn't expecting much but they cleaned right up!

did you use the Menzerna heavy cut 400 after using a restore kit

No I just used it on it's own. I had one cloudy headlight and one clear, now I have two sparkling clear headlights.
