Thought I would post a few before and after photos off my 2004 headlights after they have been sanded and polished by a company called Glasweld systems uk ltd.

Really nice improvement :)
I did them myself on my daily using the 3M kit and they also came out really well. Chuffed for the £20 and 2 hours effort it took. Makes the cars look so much better getting rid of the hazing.
 
I agree they are much improved.
They were £40 per light. I'm happy with that as had no time with work and kids to please aswell

Now need to find time to fit my new alloys :D

They really look good, do Glasweld polish them on the car, or do you ship to them?
If you don't mind some idea of the costs would be appreciated.

He does them on the car,
Taped around them to protector paintwork, and £40 per headlight.

That's a really nice job they've done there! Impressed.

Not too bad a price either :)
 
Basically what they're are removing the failed plastic top coat on the headlights by wet sanding then polishing using a machine polisher. Once competed then sealed using a UV protector to ensure they don't haze back up.

£40 is a good price though
 
I've asked for a price on doing both cloudy headlights and wiper-scratched windscreen (on the Alfa, before I trust them on the Z4).

Although (from what I can remember) the Z4's headlights are not looking bad for 150,000 miles.

Not heard back from my local one yet though, so may move on to the next closest region.
 
£80 is a lot for that work in my eyes, a kit is a tenner and it's not that hard if you use a drill polisher rather than by hand. Works if you don't have the time though.

I'm so feck-handed that I'd end up with a £1000 bill for 2 new headlights and a windscreen :thumbsdown:

...and my time is worth more than the cost of paying someone to do it :thumbsup:

However, if anyone's offering to do mine for me with one of the kits, then I'm happy to pay the going rate. If they could also program the M-Track mode at the same time, I would pay for that too :P
