Anyone ever fitted these?

I can't seem to see any existing holes on the headlights for these to screw into. If the headlight casing requires to be screwed into by these clips, wouldn't this cause issues such as steam/condensation in headlights and potential water ingress?

I bought this recently to repair one of the broken brackets on my headlight. Didn't work. The screws didn't dig in like they should :thumbsdown:

Others have used them with no issues, so maybe I was just unlucky.
 
Yep. Got a kit from BMW after someone took out the front corner a month into ownership. Fitted easily.
