hi folks

the story is this... have a blown lightbulb last night so took it down to a local garage and got myself a new bulb which is still going off, guys in garage said the last time i had my bulb changed the guys who done it must had not replace the cover back on and in the case the wire and the power pulg got rusted and damage! :x however teh guys tried to rewire the whole thing but is still fail on me! hereckon if i could get the power plug from somewhere this can be fix! but i havent got a clue!!! or else this will lead to a whole new headlight replacement which gonna cost a bomb!!! please help!!

I've probably got some plugs lying around from old clear indicator conversions. Tell me exaclty what you need and I'll take a look if I have something.

Halogen I presume, but dipped or main beam?

Photo would be best.

cheers CJ.. is said that is the power plug for the low beam that needed... the whole thing was rust out whe th eguys in the garage took it out.. and even the pins couldnt stay on when he tried to re wiring it!

Took a look in my toybox and found these:

Can't be sure they are suitable as I run Xenons, but they look like a dipped and main beam set. If they are any good you're welcome to them if I'm not out of pocket on P&P.

Does he mean this plug at the bottom of the headlight, (viewed from inside the light)
when you get water inside the headlight it can corrode the connector pins in this plug causing the problems as above, they are not available separately

Thanks gookha. I was deflected by the request for a low beam connector.

Anyway - that's easy enough - just on the other end of the loom I photographed. I only have the RHS plug (the one with 7 leads, fastened in with torx in the photo)

If you want it PM me and address, some P&P and I'll post it to you Tuesday

For info, the lamps are powered by the 7 core, the 4 core is the raise/lower motor circuit.

thanks for the info guys but hopefully the right hand side plug can be wire to the other sde!!.. and CJ i would love to take those plug from u if you dont mind! if you have a paypal account i would pay for the p&P.. thanks soo much for ur help!!
