What paint did u use?....Im going for silver too. did u do them on the car and hor did u jack it.....thats the bit putting me off as I dont have the OEM jack and keep hearing horror stories!!! :?

For your own safety don't mess about painting the brakes until you have access to a decent hydraulic jack, axle stands and level ground. Way too risky to be working underneath without...
As for painting the best way is to take the calipers off the disk and paint, although you can do them in situ if you mask up the disk. Best paint is Halfords caliper paint, but some use smooth Hammerite. Some have sprayed them too, but in any event cleaning them well is the key to a good finish.
