Headlight nightmare!!!

GaryH - are you saying you cant see the dipped beam bulb from the front of the car? That is correct, as there is a clear cover in front of it that disperses the light better, but the bulb is the same as the high beam.

the 2nd time is a lot easier than the 1st lol but sometimes I still lose skin off my hands trying to get around in that access hole!
 
I bought a new plastic cover last week from a BMW dealer, it cost £4.60 and includes the two clips.
They had to order it in, but was in next day
 
Spoke to BMW today, as Paul said, they are just under a fiver and come with the clips.

The headlight type and instructions are actually in the back of the owners handbook so they do expect it to be done by the owner!!!

May be daring, stupid, daft on the weekend and put myself through more punishment and switch the bulbs to the dipped beam!

I think I have a defective handbook :x

Or my eyes are defective :cry:
 
If you mean fitted xenon bulbs and ballasts into a pre 2006 halogen setup? Then yes

Unless I've read the above wrong?
