Headlight Lenses

Out of interest do all Z4's come with a slightly dark headlight lenses or is this something that might have been changed on my car?

if you have amber indicators on your headlights, then i would say someone has applied some dark vinyl to mask the dated amber

There's nothing applied to the lenses and it's a facelift model. It's most noticeable when you're 20-30 yards away and completely different to the lenses on my BMW Series 1 car. Very puzzling.
