Headlight Lense Repair?

So on my way home last night a deer decided to play chicken with me! Could have been a lot worse (trying to be positive!)!

Apart from the bumper damage, its created a crack in the headlight housing. Phones main stealers today and because it's bi-xenon they want £757 + vat for a single headlight :x

The headlight itself is still working fine, so my question is has anyone heard of anyone or know how to repair the lense? Had a look on YouTube and there's a few videos but none show what products they use. Tried to find a polycarbonate resin but only info on what they consist of, no one actually selling any.

Any help would be much appreciated!

That's been some impact!

Couple of options..

New light - Ouch..
Used one, VERY rare, and prob £300..

OR, grab a cheap, used halogen and swap the fronts...

Oh, I know a member who will shortly have a used NS facelift Xenon for sale, that needs a slight repair to the housing at the back, but perfect at the front..

Have just Whatsapped him pointing to this thread.

He's PM'd you - You'll need a new bumper fixing bracket by the look of it too. If you think the headlight is expensive for what you get... The 10cm plastic clip are nearly £40 each with the vat :(

Thanks Mike really appreciate your help. Got his PM so I'll try to follow that up. How easy/difficult is it to swap the fronts? A bit of research says it goes in the oven to melt the seal!?!

I'm sure you could get £757 worth of venison (if the deer was big enough) :drinkwine:
