Hi guys. Does anyone know what is the fuse rating of the headlights? I had a look at the fuse diagram (http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=38888&p=539500&hilit=fuse+diagram#p539438) but all the lights are together with fuse numbers 14,23,59,60 and does not specify exactly which is foe the headlights. I need the main beam actually, not the high beam or the side lights.

Cheers!

59 & 60 are 40A each, 59 is for the right I believe. The 40A covers both high and main beams. This is all from the WDS, I have not physically confirmed any of this.

Cheers! I have a problem with the HID kit I bought and that is the reason I want to know the rating as the installation manual says the fuse should be 20A. If it is more it is fine. My HID kit flashes once and then shuts off. I contacted HID direct and they said to check the fuses and if the fuses are not the cause of the problem they will send me a pair of error capacitors (even though the kit was supposed to be canbus). What are the 5A fuses for?? Anyone else experienced similar problems with HID kits?

Both the 5 and 40A fuses all supply the light module. It's not clear what each specifically does, though it's obvious the large ones power the main lamps. What else goes to what I could not say.
