I am going to install an HID conversion but need to drill the cover so I can mount the ballast can anyone give me the part number of the covers ?

What size do you call small, the ones I brought off here have ballast around 3" x 2" and have canbus boxes that are about 1" x 2" in each of the cables to the HID burner.
They require a 22 mm hole to allow the grommet to fit in the cover !
Have I brought the wrong ones ?

Do the ballasts get hot and have you tied them down inside the cover ?

Can anyone post a picture of where the ballasts etc can fit inside the headlights please !

Did you secure them once inside ?
I've got a spare set if you still want them but the seals are perished. Actually got two sets as just did my AE's and the the seals on the donors and originals were perished so just bought some new ones for the best part of £30.
With hindsight, I should of just taken the rubbers out and fill the channel with rubber sealant and let that cure (the black type they use for outside wall cavity pointing/filling) as that would give a better watertight seal than the original rubber because it would be bonder to all sides.
Gonna do that to one set and keep for spares if I need to change a bulb so if you (or anyone else) want the other set, PM me and cover the postage and they're yours.
