Headlight adjustment

I have an M e85 with Xenon headlight and was wondering if anyone can help, I’ve posted the same question in the M specific section as well.

Moved the car today for the first time in almost 5 months and noticed that the N/S headlight is pointing very high, I’ve tried adjusting it with the 2 adjusters under the bonnet to no avail. Has anyone got an idea of what the problem could be?
Trawling the internet hasn’t really given me a definitive answer.

Xenons are self adjusting via motors, it sounds as though one has broken in some way?

I believe so, however they still have the 2 adjuster screws which appear to be doing nothing. The O/S adjusts fine by them.
