Headlamp washer instalation

The washer bottle is usually bigger and has two motors (one for the window and the other for the lights)
Obviously you'll need the pipework and the jets. Not sure if the brackets are already in the bumper.

I think that headlamp washer activates with front windscreen washer, maybe?

it does yeah and only when the lights are on, and one headlight spray every five times'ish for the windows

That's why I think you may need a separate contoller or maybe a software activation.

Have you retro fitted HIDs?

nope mine came fitted.
I'm assuming if the power connection for the second washer motor isn't there already then if you're retrofitting it there is some sort of second controller or something when you're having to wire it in.
(could always just power the second washer from the windscreen wires or something so it fires everytime hardly a big deal)

must be a guide for retrofitting the xenon setup i'd have thought

on side note if it's just to get through mot for xenons and you're not that bothered about the washers, a lot of people just join some pipe from the windscreen washers temp and tape an end of it to trickle over the headlights... basically covers you for that check.

Sorry, my question was for the OP. Mine came as standard too, had to replace both washers in two years ownership!

I suspect the wiring will be there- you will need to then need to add the pump for the washers and all the associated tubing etc. The bottle is the same according to real oem.

Car is with factory xenon lights from USA, but I live in EU and I need headlamp washer by the law, here where I live.

you can get the pumps pretty cheap on ebay, i replaced mine with this , in case it saves you a few quid.

They will be- I replaced my bumper as I cracked mine- the brackets were there and the bumper was marked where to cut the holes for jets.

Lol, that's funny, I just removed my whole setup... Well washer jets and piping.. If you pay for postage, you can have them for 40us or 2 slabs of beer :-)
