Headlamp auto levelling issues

Hi again,

I disconnected my battery to install cruise control on my 54 zed.

After which the windows stopped one click moving. But after leaving for 20 mins to check the forum, when I came back to the car they magically worked again :-s

But on more of a safety note, driving home earlier in the dark the lights seemed very low. Evern on full beam. I tried in auto and manual lights. In manual the angle adjust didn't seem to work. I didn't think I had xenons with auto levelling, but usually when I turn them on in auto they move up and down a bit before settling. Could this be due to disconnecting the battery? It has rained and I washed the car today also. Water damage? Please help!

Just an update, I disconnected battery for 60 mins as recommended by members on other posts (on the flat this time) and reconnected. Windows took a while to sort themselves out but looking at the lights last night again still no joy. You can hear the motor change pitch as if it's thinking of moving. But the lights stay static. Still no manual control either! Please help!

in to the stealers!
Was it a retro fit cruise kit fitted? ive seen on some threads that some people have taken the car in to get it activated via the tech's, if so could they have done something on that which has caused the lights to stop levelling?

Sounds like a body computer issue to me!
