I am already converted. I AM getting one. Just have to wait.

I have also decided it will be a ///M........... In for a penny, in for a pound........  :driving:
What are you waiting for?

I could sell you mine if you're interested. :o :o :o I've been cheating on Emma with the thoughts of another car

:punish: ...OK ... snap outta it, Rick.

Funny, that's the same hotel I just made my reservations for.......

Ship, the hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Oh did I mention they serve a nice continental breakfast?

Will it be a M coupe or M3 (or M5)? If you can afford it, go for the M3 and keep your Z4 roadster. I really like the M3 coupe as well.

I was seriously considering a 335I Coupe but there was a very active thread on one of the other forums "335i vs Z4M" with lots of comments....

The best comments were from guys that have both a 335I and a Z4M... They talk about the power the twin turbos on the 335I makes, but the power starts to peeder out at the top of the RPM band.. and the ///M does not, and they talk about the fun factor. They guys that own both, say the Z4M has WAY more fun factor..... of course a 335i gets 27MPG and a Z4M get 25MPG....

I have a family car, its a 06 Honda Accord, so I really don't need another family car.

Then there is track time. I am tired of using my buddies cars. I want one of my own.

Over here right now, a 2008 Z4MC with less than 10K miles can be had for anywhere from $38K to $45K......

I really don't think I can afford a M3.

Plus, my current Z4 is my wife's car. She told me to get my own..........

I made it here to Seattle. Then drove up to Bremerton. The last time I was here was in 2001.

The area still has magnificent scenery.

I don't remember all the gambling houses being here last time....but I don't look for those so maybe I just overlooked them last time.

And of course the morons that drive 55MPH in the left lane and will not move.... I thought we had a lot of those idiots in Hampton Roads, but I really feel sorry for you people that live up here....How do you ring out your Zed?
The roads get much better once you leave the Seattle area proper. Very nice... well maintained...

The recent changes in the rules for tribal revenue enhancement have definitely altered the casino availability landscape.

Cheer up it could be far worse - as you get closer to Orygun you will find that the left lane is always occupied by someone doing less than the posted speed with a belligerent attitude towards making sure that you can't get around them to drive at a speed they don't approve of. They will speed up and slow down to make sure you can't get around them if possible just to keep you behind them. Washington drivers are quite pleasant in comparison and I am always happy to drive north from the Columbia River area.

Speaking of which - what does your schedule look like now that you are up here? Is a meet of some sort possible next weekend?

I don't know my schedule yet. It really depends on how much work is needed on the network and weapons systems (my areas of expertise) on the USS Connecticut...
The TSRA (Tactical Systems Readiness Evaluation) starts on Tuesday. I will start with a complete network evaluation. Then we get into weapons testing. If it is worse than normal, then I will work the weekend.
We also have to train the people from Puget Sound Shipyard in how we do this. They, PSS, are the ones running the show, but we are the experts. The West Coast does not do as an invasive look as we do on the East Coast. During the first and second Gulf Wars, the East Coast Boats (submarines) had a much higher weapons launch (TLAM) success rate than the West Coast boats. They have actually said: "If we don't test it, it's not broke."

I was selected to do this one since I installed the Combat Control System in 2005.

We have to be finished by the 19th. I am flying home on the 20th...

Tomorrow, I have to do a lot of reconnaissance to figure out where everything is and get my badges and such...

I did not see one Zed on the road today....

That's because it was raining today. A lot of owners around here keep their Zeds tucked away on these days, a few of them I have met :poke: :fuelfire: :nahnah:

This weekend (13/14) unfortunately won't work for me, as I have a full schedule on both days. Monday the 15th is a possibility if anyone else is available.

Sorry mate... you might not meet the infamous Emma Coupé this time around...
