Stumbled upon this on eBay, i know it wouldn't work but would be great mod if it could be made work!

As it's off an m5 I'm guessing you'd need idrive before even thinking of something like this?
 
Main difficulty would be getting the 'feed' to supply the data let alone altering the dash to accept the diplay unit. A 'mod' to far me thinks!
