If you have sat nav on your smartphone, there's a very reasonable Pioneer that links very well with apps and has a dedicated and removable holder for the phone. Looks OK but no DAB though...

Pioneer SPH-10BT, around £90 I think.

you can get something like this on ebay, less than £70

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/7inch-1-Din-Car-Radio-Stereo-MP5-Player-GPS-SAT-NAV-AUX-USB-Bluetooth-Camera/274173310200

but the sat nav maps need to be on a mem card and in the unit to work, most will mirror a ios / android phone thou so use google maps

AVH-7200DAB. I'm using with Android Auto.

This looks great! Was the install easy enough to do? Does the screen interfere with the vents behind at all? Sorry for all questions but im considering upgrading to something like this!

No problem, I'm happy to answer :)

It was as easy as any head unit to fit. I also added a module for the MFSW buttons.

As for the air vents, one thing I checked out before I bought is that it will continue to function with the screen folded away, so although the screen does get in the way of the centre vents a bit, you can fold it away (open/close button, second from right) while the cabin is warming up and your music/Nav/podcast will continue to play. In practice I don't need to do that very often at all, but it is still important to me to have the option.

This is everything that went in, looks a lot but only fits together one way, and there is plenty of room.

How much did this setup cost you in the end?

Definitely what I am looking at doing.

Was £457.43 for all the stuff in the picture plus a DAB aerial. The head unit was discounted to £399.99 on eBay from Dynamic Sounds because the box had been opened.
