Head unit upgrade!

Hello everybody. I have only very recently got my z4 but one day into ownership and I am thinking of forging ahead and upgrading the head unit as listening to gem fm etc is not ideal.

Has anyone had any experience with this kit? It’s really cheap at only £120 and looks ok but obviously I won’t know til I start swearing how easy it is and whether it is going to fit properly.

Any input welcome.

That’s great. Thanks for your reply. I’ll get on with it then. The car is amazing but being able to listen to my own music rather than the inane babble of DJs would elevate the experience 100%.

Interesting solution to upgrade.
Because its just less than the £135 customs import duty value, you shouldnt need to pay the UK VAT when it gets to you.

There's always this kit so you can use any head unit..

I’ve actually ordered a fascia from eBay and have bought some other bits from Halfords including a slightly better pioneer head unit than the one in the ad. I’ll post up some pics of the installation when the fascia arrives.
