Head Unit Compatibility?

Hi guys I bought a CD player of a forum member and never got round to fitting. So I sold it on to another Forum member.

I’ve just received a polite message from the buyer saying his garage can’t fit the changer as it’s not compatible.

Anyone shed light and ways to overcome this issue?

You mean the multi changer?
I thought they fitted any model/radio type. I've had them in basic Business spec cars and also in a full-fat DSP one.
Have the garage discovered the work involved (especially if the car doesn't have all the mounting brackets)
What age is his car? If it didn't have one before and it's post Oct 04 it may not have the loom in place.
 
The loom for the changer is there for the later models, I used it to connect an intravee to it.

You are right that it is a mere to fit though and you have to replace the inside of the centre console for the cage. There will be an empty storage box instead now.
