Head Lights

The main, and dipped beams on my Zed are rubbish.

I have upgraded the bulbs with little improvement.

And ideas/ Suggestions?

i suggest you go on the drive this sunday

only option you have is xenons.

I put the Philips xtreme bulbs in my 2004 Z4 and noticed a marked improvement

people often suggest tilting them upwards two full turns.. .havent tried this myself as my xenons are quite good.

My headlights were rubbish until I had them adjusted up a bit. Now they are very good, try that before you spend loads of cash? BMW seem to set the aim quite low

AND Taz is qite right, get out on Sunday for a drive in thr Dales .

I have no trouble with mine (halogen)

this is what I did, 2 full turns and and really is the difference between night and day.

I also put in 80% brighter bulbs but they did bugger all on their own.

As srhutch, Phillips 80%ers and 2 turns up - made a world of difference. The only prob is main beam is now a little high but at least I can see where I am going on dipped now!! May consider a HID kit before next winter (OK, OK, I know I should have self leveling but at least I have washers......!!).
