Head connections help

Hi, trying to get my Bluetooth adaptor working from the CD changer connections- but only finding it working on the Left side of the car. After much messing around nicking the CD changer from the X5 for fault finding...I took out the head unit and found this strange setup. Any reason why you would wire it up like this, with the blue/white wire cut and added to the other wire ?!? I think here’s my problem....46C890E6-F0B4-405E-B419-1B2C3487F1DC.jpeg

Many folk don't like doing a job properly...

This might help you narrow it down: https://bmwteka.com/wds/en/e85

Cheers not seen that link
Sorted, soldered up, bit of heat shrink and some harness tape, all fine now.6EA2FB8D-0C4B-481D-9DE3-BC21CAAF9DF6.jpeg
Still not sure why it was modded that way - left speaker line added to the right speaker line from the CD connection, cannot think why you would have done that.

I see it now, still very odd.

If you really want to do the job properly you can get MQS connectors from RS Components, just need a suitable crimp die.

Good to know they are MQS, I do have a decent crimper I used for Tyco/Amp connectors on my 924 resto, wasn’t sure what the Zed ones were
