Although I've known him from Bmwcarmag since late 2002, Bigfas took a bit of a disliking to my comments about HID retrofit kits (not being a good thing in reflector housings), next thing I know I'm banned without warning. Speaks volumes about the man.
Do keep my eye on the place, theres lots of good people there like Nick and Ken and also enjoy a laugh at munter!

Ok, i haven't read all the replies, but i a have moved from an s2000 to an RX8 (231) to a z4 (3.0l)
The RX8 (if it is a 231) would not keep up with a 3.0l z4 (i'm not sure about a 2.5l z4), the s2000 would also be slightly slower than the RX8. If i had to go back to one of my previous cars, i'd choose the s2000 over the RX8 as the RX8 can go horribly wrong if you don't look after it properly. In relation to that, the s2000 (IMO) is one of the greatest cars ever built.
I'm not really sure where this thread is going but just thought i'd offer my experience with the 3 cars being mentioned in this thread, hope it help someone

Ah not really any good, I know a few on EvoT that have had the same problems.
They are a good bunch on there, yeah Nick is helpful.
