He arrived a chump , left as a even bigger one

Well he said this morning "contractually I can't say any more at the moment" sounds suspiciously like there's a payoff involved. The FA were probably advised there wasn't enough to legally sack him should he have taken it to tribunal etc and have given him a fat check to go without any further media frenzies to deal with.

Used to look after a fair few footballers, some were great people with genuine hearts for the game. Take Lucas Radebe... Spot on guy, loved Leeds and stayed till the bitter end regardless of injury woes, some of the others however - Well thats a different story.

Used to follow footie, now it does nothing for me at all as they are all over paid and as soon as more money comes along they jump ship.

Its an insult to the fans, but I commend you for paying stupid cash nearly every week to watch a bunch of overpaid idiots not give a s**t.

Yes he was. Used to do quite a bit for him when he played at Leeds. His late wife was also down to earth.

Went to his testimonial - as a gift to me and my pals, he gave me the exec box as a thanks for helping him and his family!

He said that he had been foolish - what did he mean ?

"Foolish" Ie not clever enough to avoid being caught with his pants down?

Apparently, he's now going to write a book on his time as England Manager. Probably run to about 10 pages, double spaced, large font & plenty of pics....

Wasn't happy when he was appointed, what really annoys is that not once has he said SORRY.
It just shows how common place this sort of thing is within the game when he went along with everything and not suspecting a scam.
Total TO55ER.
Mind you he is the only England manager to hold a 100% record!

Unfortunately this is just typical of top flight football today... its just a business and all about greed !! :(
