Hayward and Scott

My apoligize for bringing up an old topic, but I'm considering a H&S exhaust a litte bit, but I've got a few questions about it :).

- how loud is it (between Supersprint Sport and Race)?
- does it 'drone'?
- do most people take catback, or only backboxes, or...?
- do people with H&S have trouble at trackdays because of db's?

The reason why I consider an other exhaust is because I think it could complete the experience (pops/bangs/accelerating), but don't want to get too much niose (cops/trackdays).
I had a H&S exhaust (open downpipe, open midpipe, new skool open muffler) ad my Subaru and it was just great (not too loud btw).

I've got one too

Fair bit louder at 1-3k inside (roof up), noticeable. People turn around, and they never used to. Approaching a pub with any urgency and the people outside smoking are already looking.

Doesn't drone, although it gets close at 4kish on the motorway.

Catback :)

Haven't tracked it since the exhaust, but I think it should be ok.

BTW.. mine seems significantly quicker in the midrange, at one point it felt a bit loud but the extra power meant i wasn't going to swap it back.

Sounds like its what I'm looking for, just too bad that no-one (as far as I know) in Holland has one, so I can't listen it in real before.
I think i'll make the try in the end of 2009 :).
