Haynes Motor Museum, Somerset - 1st Sunday of each month.

A group of us got to the Haynes Event this morning around 09:30 after a quick blast over a very quiet Salisbury Plain. Quite a good turn out at Haynes and a few interesting cars amongst the many 'ordinary' ones. A Few Caterham 7 Replicas, and a few original Mini's, however a bit too cold to be wandering around a car park in the cold though, so maybe we'll go back in June/July when it's a little warmer.

Here we are discussing how cold it was, parked up at the Tank Crossings

And parked up at Haynes, (Left to Right) Zedwheels, Number5, Ph45110, Spikey & Big Red Cat

I think we saw Dave the Wheel Nut making a hasty exit, but never got to meet him up close !

And the queue for breakfast was horrendous, but luckily we seemed to just get in before the rush !

Yes, a superb run over Salisbury Plain :driving: , and a good (but expensive for Spikey) breakfast at Haynes. However, the dull run back up the A37 and through Bristol, wasn't as good.

Yes, was there for a quick visit with a couple of mates with Z3s.
I did look out for you but you didn't ever seem to return to your cars. :)
It wasn't a hasty retreat, it's the back box delete which makes it sound like that :D
Perhaps I'll catch up with you at another one later in the year

Sounded great, - as though you were flooring it !
I didnt see any Zeds when we arrived at 9:20. We then ate and left just after Eleven I think. We missed you at the Falconbridge Meet last year aswell ! Perhaps next time :D

I'm only down the road in Axbridge. Give me a shout next time you have a run out.
I was too late putting my name down for the English/Welsh meet

Agree good run out over the Plain this morning folks - and lucky early in for breakfast - not sure I would have been so happy if I'd stood in the long queue though

Phil it was a bit of a drudge back up the A37 - however if it makes you feel any better I arrived one mile from my house at 12:08 and thanks to the Bath Marathon road closures arrived home at 13:25 - bloody P'd off at that

That's a good camera you have Alan - instantly gets rid of the muck from the cars!!

Zeds best turnout of the day at Haynes me thinks

Phil time to plan th Wales trip :poke:
